I was a little worried linen would feel scratchy, but this is pre-washed and it's genuinely soft right out of the package. The slate tone is a nice deep grey that makes the bedroom look calmer. It's only been through two washes and it already feels even more relaxed.
The slate color is exactly as pictured, and the pre-washed linen feels soft against my skin without that stiff, scratchy break-in period I've dealt with before. Even after three washes it's held its shape and gotten noticeably smoother, which is all I really wanted from a flat sheet.
I was a little worried a linen sheet would feel rough, but it's already soft from the first wash and the weight feels just right for spring. The slate hue has a subtle depth that makes the bed look effortlessly put-together.
