The 165gsm weight is just right—sturdy enough that they don't slip off the mattress, but so breathable I've stopped kicking them off at night. The pre-washed softness is real, not that stiff linen you have to break in for months.
I've washed these sheets three times now and they just keep getting softer, exactly like the pre-washed flax linen promised. The 165gsm weight feels substantial but somehow still keeps me cool through the night. These pillowcases have officially ruined my old cotton ones for me.
The pre-washed linen really does feel broken-in right away, no stiff first-night crunch. I do wish the fitted sheet had deeper pockets for thicker mattresses, but for the price it’s cozy and breathable enough for summer.
