The deep slate color is even richer in person, and the pre-washed flax feels like a well-worn favorite right out of the package. I’ve washed it twice already and the fabric just gets more supple each time, which makes crawling in at night a real treat.
Washed it the night it arrived and slipped it on this morning — the pre-washed flax linen already has that lived-in softness without any of the scratchy stiffness you get from cheaper sheets. The deep slate is muted and calming, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to keep getting better with every cycle.
The slate color is exactly what I wanted and the pre-washed linen means there’s no stiff, scratchy breaking-in period—it felt soft the very first night. I’ve washed it twice already and the texture just keeps getting better, plus it doesn’t wrinkle as badly as my old cotton sheet.
