The envelope closure keeps them snug on the pillow, and the linen is already broken in—soft and crinkly, not scratchy at all. I washed mine once and they came out even better, which is exactly what I hoped for from a pre-washed flax fabric.
These pillowcases are the real deal—the pre-washed linen feels broken-in and soft the second you put them on, not stiff like some I’ve tried. The pinstripe is subtle and adds a nice texture to the bed. Exactly what I wanted for a relaxed, lived-in look.
The envelope closure at the center back lies completely flat, so I never feel a lump under my head. I washed them twice already and that vintage softness holds up—they’re exactly what I wanted for the guest room.
