The envelope closure keeps the pillow fully tucked in, no stray edges poking out at night. I washed them twice already and the ivory tone stayed even, plus the pre-washed flax linen hasn't lost that gentle, lived-in feel.
The linen is genuinely soft right out of the package, no break-in period needed, and the ivory shade looks even more elegant in person. I've washed them twice already and they've held their shape without getting rough, which is exactly what I hoped for.
